Revista de Pedagogie Digitala encourages research transparency and reproducibility and supports the principles of open science. This policy outlines the journal’s expectations regarding the sharing and availability of research data.
Data availability statement. Authors are encouraged to include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript, indicating whether the data supporting the findings are publicly available, available upon request, or cannot be shared (and the reason). This statement should be placed after the conclusions and before the reference list.
Data sharing. Authors are encouraged to deposit datasets associated with published research in trusted public repositories (such as Zenodo, Figshare, Mendeley Data, or institutional repositories) and to include a persistent link (DOI) to the dataset in the manuscript. Data should be cited in the reference list using standard citation formats.
Exceptions. The journal acknowledges that, in some education research, full data sharing may be limited by ethical considerations (participant protection, sensitive data concerning minors or educational processes), legal requirements (GDPR, national data protection regulations), or confidentiality agreements. In such cases, authors should clearly explain the restrictions in the data availability statement.
Data ethics. All shared data must comply with applicable data protection regulations and ethical standards. Personal data must be anonymised before sharing. Authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary consent from research participants for data sharing.
